
The Goal
Advantage food & beverage is a family-owned business that provides vending operations for more than 100 customers in Ohio. But their big push is to move away from vending machines, to the new, innovative Avanti Markets that offer far healthier, quality food products. The key was to spread the word that Avanti Markets are now available in Ohio.
The Strategy
Advantage tried to pitch the Avanti Markets story themselves, but couldn’t get a reporter interested. Fleisher Communications Group was able to quickly assess the angles that would interest the media and then put the story in front of the right reporters – those who would want to learn more about this unique concept. 24 hours after we first sat down with Advantage food & beverage a Columbus Dispatch reporter was on the phone ready to tell their story.
The Results
In less than one week, Advantage food & beverage’s Avanti Markets concept was profiled on the front page of The Columbus Dispatch business section. Both the story and the 3 big photos that accompanied it generated exactly the interest Advantage was after.
