The Goal
Promote a unique sales partnership between Easton Shoes and the Italian Trade Commission that gets customers in the store buying shoes.
The Strategy
Fleisher Communications Group had 5 weeks to get the word out about a 3-day event promoting several lines of high-end Italian shoes.
Media placements were secured in the following publications: The Columbus Dispatch, Business First, and Upper Arlington News. Online placements included Capital Style Magazine, Columbus Alive and the Upper Arlington Daily Video.
Social Networking campaign: Featured links to dozens of the region’s top community listing services, plus a Facebook Site, Linked In and a Twitter listing that attracted more than 800 new followers.
Direct Mail: Fleisher Communications Design Group oversaw a direct mail campaign that included the mailing of 16,000 custom-designed postcards and 3 custom-designed email blasts.
The Results
Easton Shoes experienced the largest consecutive 3-day sales in their 55-year retail history.
