The Goal
Health Care DataWorks is a tech startup that spun off from the Ohio State University Medical Center. The company approached Fleisher Communications Group with one specific goal in mind: An expansive, company profile that would tell their unique story and position them as THE company to watch for in their specific industry. In less than 3 weeks, we did just that.
The Strategy
The company’s relationship with the Ohio State University was a key part of HCD’s story but we didn’t want it to overshadow the rest of the story. In addition, HCD’s CEO is well known in the market—but again his involvement was just part of the narrative. A recent contract HCD signed with a leading healthcare provider was the “hook” we hung our pitch on as we positioned HCD as a company to watch.
The Results
A comprehensive profile in Business First Columbus immediately generated the interest, momentum, buzz and measurable results that Health Care DataWorks was after. The story was also picked up in nearly a dozen business journals and on-line tech sites across the country. That translated into measurable traffic increase to their website and their phones ringing.
