The Goal
Meyers Jewelers was well-known in the marketplace for their humorous ad campaigns. They came to Fleisher Communications Group to build on their credibility and name recognition. In addition, they wanted to create excitement and momentum when they opened their new superstore.
The Strategy
Fleisher Communications Group positioned Meyers Jewelers as the hometown, family-run jeweler whose customer service cannot be surpassed. We also emphasized their overall knowledge of the jewelry business, making them the go-to experts for all stories in this area. Finally, we profiled select items that Meyers carries that are unique to the marketplace and secured a number of holiday-related live TV appearances.
The Results
Meyers Jewelers owners became “regulars” on local TV newscasts before nearly every “gift-giving” holiday (i.e. Valentine’s Day, Christmas, etc.) The results were immediately measured in more business. Overall, Meyers Jewelers has appeared in more than 15 TV stories on all 4 networks, as well as print stories in The Columbus Dispatch and Business First.
